As part of our commitment to provide the most reliable service, on Saturday 17th September from 08:00 UTC (4:00 PM Perth, 6:00 PM Sydney), the server R257 which runs your web hosting account will be replaced.
The new server includes fast CPUs and updated software. The old server uses the Centos 7 O/S, which is unfortunately no longer supported, meaning that it need to be replaced with a new system. This change will bring higher speed and also resolve the root cause of the recent system disruption on August 23rd which was caused firstly by a hardware failure, and prolonged by the only available replacement hardware being of a previous generation, which caused further performance issues while we worked with the provider. Apologies for the issues here.
During this work you may notice a short period of downtime (under 15 minutes in most cases) as your account is copied to the new system, but please contact us if you see any problems or have any questions.
